Importing and Exporting Global Trainer Settings

To Export:

1. Insert the large USB-A plug on the download/charging clip into a USB port on the computer.
2. Attach the download/charging clip to the back of the Global Trainer™ watch. Please make sure that you fully connect the download cable to the back of the Timex Global Trainer, as the pins on the download clip must align with the four metal circles on the back of the watch, and the clip needs to snap all the way in place.
3. Power on the Global Trainer™ watch, and press MODE until PC SYNC displays, followed by “WAITING FOR PC . . .”
4. Open the Timex Device Agent.
5. Select Timex Global Trainer™ from the Device menu.
6. If the Port is showing a grayed out "Click to Refresh", then click that text to refresh the auto-detection of the connected device port. Once the correct port is detected, you will see the grayed out "Click to Refresh" text replaced with text saying "Timex Global Trainer..."
7. From Device Agent's toolbar choose "Settings" to download the watch settings and display the Settings dialog.
8. Click on Configure tab (at the top of the Timex Device Agent Settings screen), and select GPS on the left hand side.
9. Click on Export to save the Settings to a file.

To Import:

7. From Device Agent's toolbar choose "Settings" to download the watch settings and display the Settings dialog.
8. Click on Configure tab (at the top of the Timex Device Agent Settings screen), and select GPS on the left hand side.
9. Click on Import to retrieve the previously saved settings file.  Select the file from you previously saved your Settings to, and click OK. Click Save to save the settings back to your Global Trainer watch.
