Our VirtualCoach will help you put together a customized training strategy for the year on a week-by-week basis to help you get there.
A training plan will help you train for a single event, but our Annual Training Plan (ATP) wizard will help you build en entire year's worth of training and racing based on Joe Friel's training methodology as described within his "Training Bible" series of books. Create a periodized Annual Training Plan with your events and goals for the year.

View your ATP in either a graphical view or list view - whichever works better for you. See the year ahead of you and know exactly what’s in store.
Once you have created your ATP, you can use the VirtualCoach wizard. The VirtualCoach gives you suggestions of what workouts to do and the overall number of hours to train for the week, but allows you to tweak the plan to fit your life schedule.
Based on Joe Friel’s methodology as outlined in his “Training Bible” book series, VirtualCoach will help you design each week of training incorporating "anchor" workouts such as master's swim and group training, strength training, long endurance days and recovery days.
Like any good coach, the VirtualCoach will “get to know you” before you get started by asking a series of questions including your age, athlete type (triathlete, runner, cyclist, etc.) and how you primarily train (such as training with HR or power). We’ll ask questions about your capabilities in the various sports to determine limiters, what your weakest sport is, and how many times a week you plan on training for each sport. Your suggested workouts will be based upon this personalized information.
VirtualCoach will keep you on track for what you should be doing each week, but you’re able to determine the duration of each particular workout. You can change your focus for the given week based on what you feel you need more or less of.
