This is a level 1 (14 week) training plan for a 10k race. This plan encompases 4 to 5 runs per week along with cross training, and speed work. The plan averaged 13 miles a week to a max of 20 miles in one week. An excellent plan for those with a minimal running base. The format builds volume and strength in a safe and non-extensive time consuming way.
