This plan is for experienced Ironman triathletes that have a power meter and heart rate monitor. In addition to detailed workouts using watts and heart rate, this plan will show you how to use the Performance Management Chart to analyze your workouts. It also includes several FTP/LT HR tests to ensure proper zones and to track progress.
After an introduction week, this plan follows a 3 week build, 1 week recovery cycle. This plan is intended to take you to race day and includes a 2 week taper.
