This is an entry level 12 week training plan for a 5k race. This plan encompases 3 to 5 runs per week with a progression of about 8 miles a week to a max of about 15 miles in one week. An excellent plan for those who are able to comfortably run 2 to 3 miles and with a minimal running base as it slowly builds volume and strength in a safe and non-extensive time consuming way.
