5k Peak Performance Training Plan - Experienced Intermediate to Advanced Runners

This 5k training plan is designed for experienced to advanced runners. I have used this plan for twenty years to prepare my adult runners for the Carlsbad 5000 in Carlsbad, California. I use my 10-point goal-setting and training approach in conjunction with this plan. This requires substantial upfront planning before starting the program. Included in this 10-week program are *Comprehensive program written in Training Peaks *Goal-setting package *Weekly telecom meeting with me *Weekly evaluation and program update *Ric Rojas running singlet *If a Denver metro area resident, attendance at any weekly practice in Boulder *Coaching support at selected Boulder area events Note: This plan may apply to any 5k race at any time of the year. Please register at least 12 weeks prior to your planned peak performance 5k date.
