This is a level 1 (15 week) marathon training plan. This plan encompasses 5 to 6 runs per week with a progression of about 15 miles to a max of about 50 miles in one week. An excellent plan for those with a minimal running base, who have ran a half marathon and would like to accomplish their first marathon distance. This plan slowly builds volume and incorporates speed, tempo and cross-training to prevent injury.
