Outside's Crash Course Ski Vacation Training Plan by Jordan Williams

Make the most of your ski vacation by getting fit before you go. This one-month plan, designed by Whistler Mountain Ski Club coach and dryland coordinator, Jordan Williams, will prepare you for a week of skiing hard.

From Coach Williams: "Please be aware that you must regulate your program to your abilities and needs. Do not over do it."

This plan features strength workouts three days a week. If anything is too difficult, scale back weight and/or repetitions.

Equipment needed: 5 and 10-pound dumbbells
