Taper for 'A' Olympic Race

You will have to be qualified for the UAST Nationals. You should have been following a triathlon training plan for 12 to 16 weeks prior to this taper for 10 hours per week minimum and have at least 6 weeks of threshold training just before this taper.

This taper is the culmination of all your training so far. It will get you to the race as best prepaired as you can be for your level of training.
