Chris Hague

Triathlon - Sewanee, TN

Coach, 1-3 Years Racing Triathlon

“I use TrainingPeaks to keep track of progress, look for training patterns to improve upon, keep my weight and metrics in balance, and communicate with other like-minded and inspired triathetes.”

Although he competed in a few triathlons before, Chris Hague was primarily a runner (like many triathletes), having raced for his high school and college teams, until making the natural transition to a full-time triathlete in 2011, during which he competed and made the podium at the Columbia Triathlon, Eagleman 70.3, Providence 70.3 and Augusta 70.3, in addition to qualifying for Age Group Nationals, Vegas and Kona. Chris started training for triathlons as a way to overcome his struggles with his low weight and body image issues, a journey which he hopes to share with fellow athletes so that they too can build a healthier relationship with their bodies. Chris focuses primarily on half and full Ironman distance events with hopes of eventually winning Kona.
