Like so many others in their mid-forties, Jonathan Howe reached a point in life where a new direction needed to be set. In 2010 he undertook local races, 10Ks, duathlons and relay triathlons, before committing to that year’s Munich Marathon. With a team sports background from playing and coaching rugby, Jonathan’s passion for sport was reignited through his commitment to improving his fitness that had waned during his thirties and early forties. With the tide turned, 2011 saw him complete Ironman Wales and his 2012 season is now clearly mapped around improved performance. Jonathan firmly believes in the mantra of “Get there, then rest” - a concept that he lives to share alongside his passion for endurance events which, to date, remains untamed!
