“TrainingPeaks is the only program I know of that I can put any training I do into and it puts it into a nice streamlined management.”
- Cadel Evans, Team Silence-Lotto, 2nd Tour de France 2008
Second place overall in the Tour de France for two years in a row, Cadel Evans is one of the world's most elite cyclists. At the end of his 2008 season, he spoke to TrainingPeaks about his experiences in the Tour and how he uses TrainingPeaks to manage his training.
Cadel explains why he chooses to use TrainingPeaks, "Because its the only program I know of that I can put any training I do into it and it puts it into a nice streamlined management. Wherever I am in the world, my coach can access all the information that Ive got in TrainingPeaks, not only volumes and so on leading up to the period we are focused on, but he's particularly interested in what I can do on the climbs, because, you know, thats a pretty important factor for winning the Tour and that is always what we are working for."
