"For me, TrainingPeaks is superior to any other training software. It really has allowed me to learn and grow so much as an athlete. I’m able to analyze my work in such great detail. It is easy to use and has everything a cyclist needs to enhance the training experience."
Shelley currently races professionally for the Holland-based road cycling team, AA Drink/Leontien Cycling. She is noted for her sprinting abilities. Most recently, Shelley won the UCI Road World Cup Event in China and Stage 6 of the Women’s Giro d’ Italia the Giro Donne. She was the Pan-American Road Race Champion in 2010, two-time National Criterium Champion in 2010 and 2011, and is a two-time National Scratch Race Champion on the track. Shelley’s current focus is on international road cycling and she recently achieved her ultimate goal as a cyclist, to compete for her country at the Olympics. In June 2012, she was selected to represent the USA in the 2012 London Olympic Games. A flat tire put her out of the winning breakaway and cost her a chance for a medal, but she still finished 7th overall.
