Look at those watts in the first 35 minutes.... That's gotta hurt after a rest day! That's a lot of covering attacks and going with accelerations. Luckily it didn't last too long and Adam was able to recover and relax for a while. 20% of his time not pedaling today, so a good day to recover before the climb of Col de Portal. Once on the Portal, Adam was solidly in his sub-threshold/tempo zone for most of it. Perfect for saving energy for the rest of the stages and finishing in a good group. One contrast from this day to the previous flatter stages is the fact that once Adam is in his established group, then it's a steady pace to the finish. The last hour is not too hard, which is a nice pace compared to the previous stages of hammering in the last hour.
Just a note, Adam did an easy 2 hour ride yesterday, and I assigned him 35 TSS points.
