Stage 3 - Monday, July 7: Saint-Malo - Nantes, 208km
Finally, we have a 'Sprinters' Stage! Not many hills on today's ride and bigger roads on the way to the finish should give the Sprinters a chance. With the ITT tomorrow, most of the riders that are looking for a top GC placing will be holding back today and resting as much as possible. Along with a flat stage, it should create a field sprint scenario. Alas, it was not to be as a breakaway containing American Will Frischkorn stayed away to the finish to take away the Yellow jersey from Valverde and Will just barely missed a stage victory.
