Jeremy Powers had a tough day in the saddle today as Stage 5 from Steamboat Springs to Breckenridge, as the first climb of the day was done at a blistering pace. Jeremy rode at 5.0 w/kg up the Rabbit Ears pass and he was in the second group back over the top of the pass. In the ensuing chase back to the peloton, he had to chase for 37 minutes and averaged 32.7mph, before he caught back on to the peloton. The rest of the race was not easy either and with 15 miles to go, Jeremy was done for the day and rode in with a nice group back about 11:29. He averaged 256 watts normalized for the entire 4 hours 30 minute stage and scored 277 TSS.
