Stage 9: 11,000 of climbing is tough even for climbers! What a day for the peloton. Crashes, tough climbs and a hard finish. Chris Anker Sorensen had to work hard today and spent most of the day in his tempo and threshold zones. He scored the highest TSS so far of the tour and rode strongly helping his team leader Alberto Contador.

Stage 4: Lorient - Mûr-de-Bretagne 172km Cadel Evans (BMC) defied most predictions for the finish on the Mûr de Bretagne when he just managed to hold on to beat the strong-finishing Alberto Contador (Saxo Bank-SunGard) to claim stage four of the Tour de France.
The pair battled each other most of the way up the 1.7km climb to the finish, the Spaniard attacking twice, the Australian responding on both occasions. Evans made his final move inside the final 100 metres and clung on to win, with pre-stage favourite Philippe Gilbert (Omega Pharma-Lotto) back in fifth place.

Stage 3: Olonne-sur-Mer - Redon, 198km Tyler Farrar wins his first stage in the TDF! A fitting finish to a great July 4th stage. Chris Anker Sorensen was relaxing today in the peloton up until the last hour when the peloton had to deal with crosswinds. Chris fought hard to keep Contador at the front and then rode into the finish saving energy for tomorrow.
