Boasson Hagen third but holds onto overall lead.

fast start to the stage. 5 riders went up the road and it was pretty cruisy in the bunch. Serge rode on the front and swapped with Mick Rogers a few times. For the sprint i was last man for Edvald. we took it up pretty early with Christian Knees driving it. then Wiggo took over bout 3km to go and took Geraint to 1km mark. Then G took me to 400m to go. I dropped off Eddy at about 150m to go. Eddy delivered and Won. great day.
Legs are feeling pretty good.

CJ Sutton's TrainingPeaks Diary-

"Fast from start. All of us were present at start covering moves. 3 riders clipped clear after 25km. Legs were ok but not super. Serge and Mick set tempo for a long time. Then Christian took over for a while and Geraint also. Serge was sick and had to pull out. Mick kept pulling on the front for a while longer but had nothing left about 60km to go. Christian was super strong today and Geraint doing a lot of work to bring break back 50km to go. We looked after Eddy for the sprint and tried to guide him to the line. Wiggo hit the front 1km to go. Geraint took over 600m out and dropped me at 300m. Maybe a little less. I tried as best I could. Eddy came off me just under 200m but was just beaten to the line. All boys were super strong today. Solid and hard day."
