Perspectives allow you to build a set of charts on your Athlete Home Page for a specific type of data. For example, you might be a triathlete and want a set of charts that just show you your running data. Or you might want a set of charts that just show you your race data. You can create a new perspective and then build the charts inside that perspective that allows you to view just that data. For more information on using Perspectives, CLICK HERE to see the Perspectives page in the WKO+ User Guide.
The Settings area allows you to manage your application settings, which include your TrainingPeaks.com information, the way athlete names are shown, and the Color Settings.

Performance Management Chart (PMC)
When will you peak? Is your training load high enough? Should you start tapering now for that big event? Scientifically designed, the Performance Management Chart(PMC) is a revolution in modeling and predicting peak performance. With PMC, you’ll better understand what it takes to be ‘on form’, and how to stay there. Learn how to balance your training load like never before. For more details on how to use the PMC, CLICK HERE.
The Quadrant Analysis tab (QA) allows you to learn about the relationship between pedaling force(torque) and pedaling velocity(cadence). Every ride has a different relationship with force and velocity and this can give you some meaningful information about your training or racing. For example, a Mt. biker typically spends most of his time pedaling in Quadrant II of the QA. This means that he pedals very hard with a low cadence. If that same Mt. Biker spends a lot of time on the road for training, then most road training is in QIII and QIV. This means that while the Mt. Biker is producing the same watts on the road bike as in the Mt. Bike race, he's not producing them the same way. Quadrant analysis helps us to understand the muscular component to cycling and not just the cardiovascular.

The Scatter Graph(SG) Analysis allows you to view a simple scatter plot of your data. You can change what data is being plotted and also which data is related to the X and which data is related to the Y axis. Change them around and plot whichever channel of data you would like to as this will help you further understand the relationship between the data being plotted.

This feature allows you to automaically find specific times when you went over a certain amount of watts and for how long. For more details on the Fast Find feature, CLICK HERE to view that section in the User Guide.
WKO+ allows you to create custom ranges. For detailed information on creating Custom Ranges, CLICK HERE to view that section in the User Guide.
In each workout file, in the GRAPH view, WKO+ automatically calculates your best or Peak wattages for certain fixed time periods. It puts this data in the RANGES window. Open any workout and click on the GRAPH tab, then examine the RANGES window. If you click on the text -Peak 1 minute- then you will see the metrics below. If you click on the small box to the left of the text, then you will see an 'eye' turn on and then the back ground behind the -Peak 1 minute- will become black.
